and other family - mother Sarah Woodcock (nee Bramhall), father Richard, cousins Rene and Hilda and Betty and second cousins Judith and Eileen etc. and friends.

Top Row l to r : Roy aged about 5 on the beach at Scarborough, Richard Woodcock with Grantley village cricket team - he is the captain centre front, Roy and Harold outside West Lodge, Grantley Hall (their home), Harold with friends, Rene Woodcock with H. and R. , Rene's wedding to Jack Dyson with her sister Hilda bridesmaid on rt. with Betty next to her, next 3 were billetted on the Woodcocks in Harrogate during the war, Vera, Dorothy and Joan,last is Harold with Jet, the family dog.

Bottom Row l to r: Roy in Canada with his "wings", Roy outside Monckton barracks, Roy with Granville, next group shows family including Uncle Joe, Aunt Sarah, Betty etc., Eileen Mellor as a bridesmaid and Sarah Woodcock with Mrs Thompson (a great friend) and last Judith Chandler, Betty's daughter, now Mrs Fairhurst of Middleham.
