Well, so far, no input from Alison, so I'll supply a potted biography and she can alter this and/or add to it, if she wants to!

Born 25th July 1963-Harrogate

Knaresborough 1963-1972- attended Manor Road infants and Castle Junior schools

Carlisle 1972-1982 - Kingmoor and Trinity schools

London 1982 -1985 - Ravensbourne College of Art and Design - BA in Fashion Design

Carlisle 1986-1989 - ran a fashion business with her friend Jeannie Duncan

Lesotho 1989-1991 - volunteer teacher of dressmaking in Maseru with Skillshare

Carlisle 1991

Johannesburg 1991 -1994 - lecturer in fashion design - married Colin Haskins .

Carlisle1994-1995 - Amani born October 1994 in Johannesburg

Leeds 1995 to date - Leeds University - MA in Development Studies - divorced

First development job "Can Do" initiative backed by the Scarman Trust - Leeds Coordinator

Now in charge of a similar scheme providing finance and help to local projects in the Leeds area and, as of January 2002, happily remarried to Sam (pictures available by linking from "family page") or, for a quick peek, see last picture below.
